Heyo - We’re Sam and Pat (Sam wears the hat and Pat has the beard),
We first met in high school. By then Pat was already glued to his camera; and took Sam’s senior photos for an unofficial first date. Fast forward a bit and we had both gone on our separate adventures.
Sam moved to Montana to try college. While skipping classes she spent time roaming the backroads and wilds of the Big Sky state, taking photos and collecting stories.
Pat moved to NYC for a job and traveled around working on various projects from documentary work in remote places to scripted TV shows. Eventually moving to Utah to change skyscrapers for towering mountains.
Sam skipped a few more classes and dropped out of college to move back to Pennsylvania. While Patrick was living in Utah and Sam was back in PA, he sent her a message and a few months later she was living in Utah too. Over the years we’ve moved around together trying out a few more states - always taking photos and videos along the way.
After mulling the idea around for awhile, in January 2025 while sitting at our favorite bar we put that idea into action; wedding videos should be done differently and from there Towering Pines Productions quickly took form.
We are dedicated to moving beyond the typical. We create wedding films that truly reflect the depth and unique narrative of your lives together - not just the pretty posed moments of your wedding day.
Pat brings over 15 years of professional experience in the creative space to every project. His expertise in authentic storytelling and high-level production is informed by his work with world-renowned clients, including The New York Times, iHeart Radio, Meta, Google, The Smithsonian, Business Insider, NASA, Netflix, and more.
Sam brings a keen eye for composition and an empathetic heart. She gives every project its heart and soul. Through years of listening to stories and immersing herself in the awesome sights of nature; she has developed a keen sense of what makes a story interesting and crafting a narrative that resonates to the soul.
